WCRC Executive Committee Issues "REJECT" Statement on Fayetteville Bond Election

On Tuesday, April 2nd, 2019 the Executive Committee of the WCRC passed a resolution OPPOSING all questions on the 2019 Fayetteville Bond Issue Election Ballot.  Early voting has begun, with Election Day slated for Tuesday, April 9th.

The WCRC encourages all eligible members, and members of the public, to vote in the ongoing election.  The previous bond issue was passed with fewer than 6,000 total voters participating in the election to issue $65.9M in bonds.  The current proposal will refinance approximately $12M of the existing bond and total approximately $226M in NEW bonds.  The full statement from the WCRC executive committee can be downloaded below.
